Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved program preferred or externship verification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and assist in medical examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians.
• Perform venipuncture, injections and related procedures under clinician supervision.
• Maintain electronic patient records and accurate charges.
• Assist in minor surgery and other procedures under supervision.
• Ensure patient flow and counselor patients with language translation as needed.
