Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors MA staff and students; leads small projects when needed.
• Schedules MA staff, coordinates tasks, and ensures OSHA compliance.
• Greets patients, collects information, and communicates with providers.
• Obtains vitals, performs basic procedures (EKG, injections, phlebotomy), and supports testing and specimen collection.
• Manages medical records, updates EMR with medications, and handles record requests.
