Job summary

Qualifications include a Medical Assistant certificate, a relevant accredited program, and 3–5 years of experience. Proficiency with EMR/EHR and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate 1 Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, escort to exam rooms and communicate with providers.
• Take vitals, weight, BP, pulse and temperature; perform EKGs, injections and phlebotomy as needed.
• Assist providers and staff; prepare schedules and allocate MA resources.
• Maintain patient records, ensure proper documentation and file records accurately.
