Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Westborough, MA to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions and managing projects.

You will train and mentor junior technicians, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold safety across the facility. 4+ years with MHE, PLCs, blueprints, and CMMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors and controls).
• 4+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years CMMS experience.
• 2+ years PLC programming experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Able to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; install, maintain, and troubleshoot relays, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and related devices.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
