Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in California to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for complex problems and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance Team.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, overseeing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and efficiency across the facility. Strong PLC/CMMS and blueprint-reading skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years of experience with a CMMS.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; work with relay logic, ladder diagrams, controllers, sensors and actuators.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Support: Lead and audit preventive maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Maintain positive relations across the Operations facility.
