Ferrovial Webber Energy seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to drive safety, schedule, and quality on utility-scale solar projects. You will oversee mechanical construction, coordinate with subs, and ensure compliance with codes and project specs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years industrial mechanical experience and 7+ years supervisory leadership, with proficiency in Procore, Blue Beam, MS Office, and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industrial mechanical experience (solar/renewable energy projects preferred).
• 7+ years of supervisory and/or leadership experience.
• Experience with pile installation, racking and mounting systems, torque tubes, tracker systems, module installation and related mechanical components.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
• Will travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure a safe workplace by partnering with Safety, project management and related committees.
• Oversee and coordinate mechanical construction activities for utility-scale solar projects (pile installation, racking, torque tubes, trackers, module installation).
• Control job progress by managing subcontractors, resolving issues, and maintaining documentation, quality and safety controls.
• Monitor and control project costs through weekly evaluation of labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Oversee field productivity, cost control, quality control, and scheduling to meet budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with field and project management to address cost and schedule concerns.
• Participate in job start and job close meetings.
• Communicate regularly with Project Management to troubleshoot challenges and update status.
• Enforce company policies with field personnel and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership by building cooperative relationships and taking responsibility.
• Lead team with coaching and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, standards, and project specifications for solar installations.
• Review design drawings, inspect mechanical work, and ensure QA/QC at all stages.
• Other unlisted duties as assigned.
