Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Robotics Engineer for our Manufacturing Division.

You will lead a small team to develop automation solutions, solve real-world production problems, and design/implement mechanical tooling and fixtures on the shop floor. Expect hands-on CAD work, collaboration in design reviews, and a focus on delivering safe, reliable, and economical enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small teams and keeping projects moving.
• Robotics experience, especially with cobots and vision systems, is a big plus.
• Experience supporting design, automation, or general engineering in a manufacturing setting.
• Design of Experiments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own problem statements from conception to solution integration and closure.
• Lead a small team to develop automation solutions for production environments.
• Deliver results on time and within budget while developing employees.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
