You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive automation projects from conception through commissioning, with a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency. This role requires deep knowledge of PLC/HMI, industrial networks, and fieldbus systems, plus hands-on experience with electrical design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically 6+ years relevant experience in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
• Working knowledge of automation and integration applications in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of the OSI model and networking principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 15% to support projects.
• Ability to learn new skills and mentor others.
• Background check satisfactory and no negative drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed understanding of electric power system automation and industrial control systems.
• Lead in customer technical support including installation, commissioning and operation of automation systems.
• Lead in developing and analyzing product specifications and validation tests.
• Lead in writing and maintaining product documentation including guides and manuals.
• Lead in the development of technical and market analyses for proposed products or enhancements.
• Lead in evaluating competing automation products.
• Perform as a technical lead on assigned projects.
• Mentor Engineers and Associate Engineers.
