Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead Mechanical Project Manager based in Utah to lead complex, mission-critical mechanical systems on data center and large-scale projects. You will coordinate with clients, GC's, EPC's and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Fifteen years in Construction.
• Experience managing mechanical scopes in excess of $100M in construction value.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, electrical distribution, cooling infrastructure, and critical facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Manages all mechanical activities across the project lifecycle including pre-construction, design, construction, commissioning and turnover.
• Serve as the primary mechanical point of contact between client, GC, EPC, AECOM staff and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between mechanical infrastructure requirements and project objectives.
• Oversee installation of mission-critical mechanical systems such as chillers, CRAH/CRAC units and pumps.
• Monitor contractor performance and conduct field inspections for quality and schedule conformance.
• Coordinate milestones with electrical, civil, architectural and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical direction, administer policies and ensure design, budget and quality compliance.
• Support commissioning activities and turnover of building portions on-site.
• Review pay applications and coordinate with OFCI for insurances and bill of sale as needed.
