Blue Origin is seeking a Sr. Mechanical/Fluid Engineer in Huntsville, AL to design and analyze high-pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems for rocket engine test stands. You will lead fluid system architecture, coordinate with suppliers, and support facilities start-up and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Expertise with ASME B31.3 and ASME BPVC codes.
• Experience with fluid system components and cryogenics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the design of high-pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems.
• Perform transient analysis of compressible and incompressible fluid systems.
• Conduct Process Hazard Analysis activities for fluid systems (HAZOP).
• Lead technical direction and architecture decisions for fluid system design and implementation.
• Manage suppliers, coordinating cost, schedule, and technical design requirements.
