Zusammenfassung

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Houston, TX or Dallas, TX office. You will design complex cooling and HVAC systems for mission critical facilities, including air distribution systems, chiller plants, and energy solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of design experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and PipeFlow. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
• 5-7 years designing mechanical systems for high performing, commercial, industrial or mission critical/data center buildings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and PipeFlow; knowledge of building, mechanical and energy codes.

Aufgaben

• Independently support the project team during design and construction stages.
• Design air distribution, hydronic and automated temperature controls systems.
• Integrate complex mechanical engineering requirements into facility designs.
• Develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with internal and external teams and vendors.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
• Perform CFD evaluations for existing and new facilities.
• Survey and evaluate existing conditions and provide construction administration support.
