The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mechanical building systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Proven history of Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
• 7+ years design experience for high-performing, commercial, industrial or data-center buildings.
• Experience mentoring and training others in the field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and codes.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of cooling, HVAC, air distribution, and hydronic systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers on projects.
• Develop proposals, budgets and manage client interactions.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external vendors.
• Attend client meetings and drive discussions.
• Produce high-quality technical deliverables and drawings.
• Oversee construction administration and site visits.
