Actalent in Blue Bell, PA seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC Building Design) to lead complex HVAC systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science facilities. You will own air distribution, water systems, central plants, and controls, guiding projects from feasibility through detailed design with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in building design, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering and design experience in building design with HVAC systems.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
Proficient in Revit for mechanical/building design modeling and AutoCAD for documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of mechanical (HVAC) systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science facilities, including air distribution ductwork and central plants.
Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs ensuring codes and standards.
Review and optimize existing systems for renovation and upgrade projects.
Serve as mechanical design lead across all project phases from feasibility to documentation.
Develop scopes of work, budgets, and staffing plans with the Project Manager.
