Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 7–10 years post-education experience in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing and utility piping design.
• Proficient with mechanical engineering principles, practices, design/build and code requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of building and infrastructure design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide data collection and analysis from sites, surveys, blueprints, schematics, data reports and other matrices for project development, design and construction.
• Apply high-level mechanical engineering techniques to identify improvements for project phases (concept to operation).
• Perform inspections and evaluate site conditions to ensure compliance with rules, codes and permits.
• Develop construction plans, specs, phasing plans and cost estimates; coordinate with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants and clients.
• Involved from inception to completion in mechanical design and construction, including rehabilitation and new builds.
• Incorporate advanced technologies and design standards for proper installation and operation of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate, review and approve installation plans for data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare data visualizations and technical reports for interpretation and presentation of findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on projects and business opportunities.
