Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 9+ years of experience.
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years of experience; in lieu of a degree, 13+ years of experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Progressive engineering experience in defense, aerospace, avionics, mission systems, C4ISR, or related regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a mechanical engineering team to meet program, functional, and business objectives.
• Direct day‑to‑day engineering activities across organizations and teams.
• Act as a technical contributor to Airborne EO/IR programs across design, development, integration, verification, and testing.
• Translate customer and program requirements into executable engineering plans, staffing, and performance expectations.
• Ensure engineering work products satisfy technical requirements, quality standards, and milestones.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineering personnel and manage workforce planning.
