Required is a strong engineering background with 9+ years (7+ with a graduate degree) and an active TS/SCI clearance. The role emphasizes customer liaison, teamwork, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 9+ years related experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, MBSE and MIL-STD-1553 ARINC 429.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into verifiable system requirements.
• Write system/subsystem requirements specs.
• Develop system CONOPS and use cases.
• Develop architectures for mission equipment in SILs and airborne systems.
• Define requirement traceability methods.
• Perform systems engineering trade studies.
• Prepare effective presentations for technical and non-technical professionals.
• Be the focal technical point for conversations with the customer.
