Job summary

NEP is seeking a lead Mechanical Design professional to head the mechanical design team at the Systems Integration facility. The role focuses on designing broadcast and production equipment, including mobile television facilities, Fly Pack and Studio systems, and overseeing prototypes and testing.

You will collaborate with design, project management, and fabrication teams to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or related field; combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops new or existing facilities/systems with specialization in television mobile unit trailer, Fly Pack and Studio systems.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

5+ years of industry related experience

Vehicle design knowledge for mobile television facilities

Acoustical design principles for audio rooms

Excellent oral and written communication

Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault, Autodesk CFD, Microsoft Office, and 3D printing tools
