Job summary

NEP Group Inc. is seeking a senior mobile unit engineer to lead daily operations, oversee technical readiness, and serve as the on-site authority during remote broadcast events.

You will guide show builds, perform complex troubleshooting, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure flawless productions. Ideal candidates have 4–5+ years in remote broadcast engineering, a technical degree, and proven leadership in fast-paced live environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5+ years in remote broadcast engineering or related field.
• Proven Engineer in Charge-level leadership overseeing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the mobile unit and maintain NEP standards.
• Oversee on-site technical authority and client communication.
• Lead show builds and live production execution, including system configuration and teardown.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during setup, live broadcast, and breakdown.
• Coordinate equipment, staffing, and logistics with Mobile Unit Coordinators and teams.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to engineering staff; drive safe, efficient operations.
• Prepare post-event technical reports and required documentation.
