Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products or precision assemblies through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and ECOs.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into product specifications and designs.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate results, and refine designs for performance.
• Lead design reviews and resolve issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of production issues.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and improve reusable design practices.
