Job summary

lrsrecycles is seeking a Lead Mechanic to guide the maintenance team, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on a range of fleet equipment including loaders, excavators, skid steers, forklifts and grinders. Emphasis on safety and uptime.

The role covers supervising daily work, training mechanics, and ensuring documentation and reporting are completed. CDL is a plus; ASE certifications are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in a fleet environment.
• Maintenance/repair of a variety of heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions; safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and oversee daily maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform diagnostics and parts replacement on fleet equipment.
• Service conveyors and sorting equipment; provide training to other mechanics.
