Job summary

lrsrecycles is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet including wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, and grinders. You will perform preventive maintenance and needed repairs to keep machines running daily with safety as a priority.

The role reports to the Shop Manager and is a full-time, on-site position requiring ability to work in various weather conditions and to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Full-time position with overtime opportunities.
• Must have own tools (large impact tools provided).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on heavy vehicles, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Perform diagnostics, services, and parts replacement for fleet.
• Repair or adjust components such as tires, hoses, and electrical systems.
• Service conveyors and sorting equipment.
• Complete and maintain service records and work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
