Job summary

lrsrecycles is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair the company fleet, including wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, man lifts, and grinders. You will perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs to maximize uptime and safety.

The role reports to the Shop Manager and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and consistent documentation of service activities in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine maintenance operations is required.
• Completion of college or vocational or technical training is a plus.
• A valid CDL driver license is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age, or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Perform services, diagnostics, and parts replacement for company fleet.
• Aid in repair and adjustments or replacements on components and systems such as tires, hoses, and electrical systems.
• Service conveyors and various sorting equipment.
• Complete and maintain records of servicing operations such as work orders and daily status reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
