Job summary

AgReserves, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanic to join our farm shop team. The role directs daily maintenance operations, coordinates work, ensures quality, and develops team capability while remaining hands-on.

The position requires 5+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership, strong planning and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Work involves outdoor agricultural environments and potential shift work.

Qualifications

Canyon Falls Farm is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanic to join our farm shop team!

Summary

The Mechanic Lead directs daily maintenance operations, coordinating work, ensuring quality, and developing team capability while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize daily work based on operational needs.

  • Position is based on regular farm / ranch schedule of 40-60 hours per week.

  • Frequently work in outdoor agricultural environments with exposure to varying temperatures, sunlight, wind, and changing weather conditions.

  • Occasional work on uneven, muddy, slippery, and elevated surfaces, with potential exposure to vibration or electrical hazards.

  • Noise levels may range from moderate to loud, depending on equipment operation and task being performed.
  • Work hours may vary due to operational needs and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, extended shifts, or seasonal demands.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection, and respirators, will be provided as required by law and company policy. Employees are required to properly use designated PPE when tasks require it.
