We are looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as anEntry-Level Mechanic/Shop Assistant. In this role, you will assist with thepreventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairof farm equipment. This is a great opportunity to develop your mechanical skills in a hands‑on environment with supportive training and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on farm equipment and trucks.
• Locate order and pick up parts..
• Assist in diagnosing and fixing issues with brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and cooling systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders and inspection reports.
• Help manage parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain and service batteries and battery chargers.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Use creative problem‑solving to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, handling, and use of hands and fingers.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Regular use of both hands for coordinated tasks.
• Frequent reaching at various heights (above shoulders, at waist, below waist).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height.
• Prolonged standing, bending, and walking—up to 12 hours per shift.
