BD in Texas seeks a Lead Tech Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support for the design and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

Responsibilities include hands-on development to improve high-speed equipment, troubleshooting/maintenance, and coordinating with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams. Ability to cover 2nd and 3rd shifts is required.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment.
Experience with high-speed automated equipment and CAPA activities.

Mansioni

Hands-on development improvements to high-speed automated equipment for manufacturing of medical devices.
Troubleshooting and maintenance of high-speed automated equipment.
Use programming and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve performance of automated machines.
Follow safety procedures and address potential safety concerns, including PPE.
Collaborate with BD production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to meet goals.
Support CAPA activities to address systemic issues in manufacturing and quality systems.
Ability to work on a flexible schedule and cover 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed.
