Job summary

Maverick Power in Texas is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Lead to oversee assembly of machinery and products to exacting specs. You will read blueprints, coordinate with teams, and ensure safety and quality in daily production.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office for logs and records; successful applicants thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to complete logs.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and team player.
• Ability to maintain and perform basic equipment repairs.
• Basic math, reading, or writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work is performed safely with PPE.
• Leads by example through the 5S Methodology.
• Assembles machinery, metal products, electrical equipment per directions.
• Reads blueprints and builds to specifications.
• Uses various machines and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Maintains logs and records for production and maintenance.
• Performs basic equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Inventory tools and coordinates supplies with materials handler.
• Checks products for quality and reports issues to supervisor.
• Exhibits teamwork and supports peers during high demand; adheres to start/stop and breaks.
