Job summary

BD is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee manufacturing operations on a 3rd shift (Wed/Thu, 3rd; Sat/Sun, 6pm-6am) at the El Paso location. Responsibilities include leading production, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in regulated manufacturing, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and proven leadership abilities to manage metrics and staffing effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, preferably FDA/GMP-regulated environments.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, FDA, GMP and ISO 13485 requirements; participate in investigations.
• Directly supervise production associates and team leads; foster a high-performance culture.
