Job summary

SHL Medical is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize automated production equipment and assembly processes. The role requires leading improvement plans, troubleshooting critical equipment, and supporting technology transfer into mass production.

The candidate will collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance, with off-hours work as needed and standard background checks for new hires.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Five (5) years of experience evidencing ability to perform the stated duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for automated production equipment focusing on downstream assembly operations.
• Lead and support improvements for capacity expansion and future production systems.
• Lead commissioning and acceptance testing of new production equipment and technology transfer into mass production.
• Collaborate with production teams, machine builders, process/product development groups, and QA for performance improvements and rapid issue resolution.
