Lead Tech Mechanical Engineer
The Lead Tech Mechanical Engineer provides technical support with the design and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment and packaging equipment to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on development improvements to high-speed automated equipment for the manufacturing of medical devices.
Performs troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-speed automated equipment.
Use technical knowledge and experience in programming and troubleshooting to resolve issues and to improve the performance of the automated machines based on the following technologies:
Follow all safety procedures and identify/communicate the necessary adjustments to address potential safety concerns, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
Work with BD production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure that goals are met.
Maintain primary communication of performance goals and requirements identified by management.
Support CAPA activities as required (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address systemic issues in the manufacturing and quality systems.
Ability to work on flexible schedule and cover 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is required (degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or any related field is desired).
At least 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (preferably in a highly automated environment).
