Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Meat Department Associate to lead daily department operations at our St. Joseph location. You will cut and weigh meats, maintain inventory, and support the Department Manager in scheduling and payroll tasks.

Responsibilities include ensuring product quality, proper rotation, adherence to food safety standards, and delivering a positive guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and able to follow guidelines.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and cleaning expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store.
• Cut and weigh meats and prepare products per standards.
