Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineering Specialist for Lynn Plant 1 (TPCE). You will own manufacturing support for rotating hardware and drive lean improvements across the shop floor, delivering safe, efficient processes and cost improvements in a dynamic environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, focus on ergonomics, safety, and productivity, and help transition to modular cells while reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or HS diploma with 4+ years manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
• GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience is permitted.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manufacturing support for rotating hardware components.
• Lead ergonomic, safety, and shop-floor improvements.
• Drive First Time Yield, productivity, and process efficiency enhancements.
• Reduce inactive hardware and aged WIP; lower cost of quality.
• Support process redesign using lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery commitments for a $50M+ business.
