Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be part of the lab team responsible for NPI demo and low-rate engine rotating engine hardware. You will engage directly in the engineering aspects of the manufacturing process, focusing on rotating parts such as disks, blisks, spools, and seals. This is a hands-on role involving working with complex hardware on machining centers. You will contribute to the quality of your work and that of the team, performing operational and technical tasks following established instructions. Flexibility in adjusting your task sequence to adapt to work situations is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Expand your knowledge of your technical discipline to support policy and strategy.
  • Understand key business drivers and how your work contributes to the team and organization.
  • Make decisions within a defined framework and resolve issues using your technical knowledge, consulting more senior team members when necessary.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, with potential leadership responsibilities, especially in customer-facing roles, including explaining technical information clearly.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with NX Cad/Cam.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers and technicians from various backgrounds.
