Job summary

BlackFish Federal seeks a Team Lead for Material Handlers to support the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in a warehouse setting in Colorado. You will lead a 10–12 person team, ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time performance, and directly coordinate with client contacts to align on task execution.

The role requires leadership experience in a labor-intensive environment, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with security and background checks.

Qualifications

• 3 years of directly related experience working at NARA or similar environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate, guide and inspire others, delegating tasks effectively.
• Experience leading a team of 10-12 employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.
• U.S. citizen required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client or client point-of-contact to discuss logistics and tasks.
• Monitor work for accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency; coordinate with Government personnel to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure personnel adhere to Standards of Conduct, security requirements.
• Act as liaison between contract personnel and client; escalate issues to COR/Project Manager as needed.
• Ensure daily sign-in/out and accurate time tracking; verify weekly totals.
• Remain on site during work performance with limited exceptions.
• Learn and train personnel on work processes and procedures.
• Ensure labor tasks are completed within production standards.
• Perform labor tasks for Material Handler personnel as assigned.
