Job summary

BlackFish Federal is seeking a Team Lead for Material Handlers to support the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The role combines leadership duties with hands-on material handling in a warehouse setting.

You will supervise 10–12 staff, ensure accurate processing, and maintain compliance with standards and security requirements. The position requires on-site work in a labor-intensive environment, with ladder access and lifting duties.

Qualifications

• 3 years of directly related experience at NARA or similar environment.
• Ability to lead a team of 10–12 employees.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and climb ladders up to 15 ft.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client to discuss task logistics.
• Monitor work for accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Ensure personnel follow Standards of Conduct and security.
• Serve as liaison between staff and client; escalate issues to COR/Project Manager.
• Verify daily sign-in/out and weekly totals.
• Remain on site during work performance with limited exceptions.
• Assist training of personnel and ensure tasks meet production standards.
• Perform Material Handler tasks such as locating, pulling, and staging containers.
