Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking a Master Teacher I to support staff development and deliver high quality developmentally appropriate care for 0–5 year olds in the ECD Programs.

The role includes floating coverage, lesson planning, data assessment, and curriculum implementation within a center/home-based team, aligned with Head Start standards and state licensing. The position emphasizes supervision, health and safety, and active engagement with families.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s preferred.
• Six months of teaching preschool experience preferred.
• Basic keyboard skills and ability to use computer software.
• Clear background check and required health/vaccination checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate care and education for 0–5 year olds.
• Support staff development and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain health and safety regulations and accurate records.
• Cover classrooms as needed and assist with assessment data and planning.
