Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. seeks an Infant Toddler Teacher to promote school readiness for children aged 0–3 within a center-based ECD program.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, supporting health, education, and family services while adhering to Head Start standards and state regulations. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; experience with low-income and diverse families is valued.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or comparable credential and training in early childhood development.
• Preschool CDA with training in Early Child Development and 6 months experience with infants/toddlers may be considered.
• An associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.
• Bachelor’s degree or coursework related to Child Development/ECE.

Responsibilities

• Promote school readiness by preparing children and their families for school and life success.
• Provide high quality developmentally appropriate care and education for 0–3 year olds in a center-based classroom.
• Work as part of a center-based interdisciplinary team to support children’s development and family services.
• Abide by Head Start standards and state/federal regulations applicable to care and education of young children.
