Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Construction Carpenter/Journeyman for Fort Washington Estates. The role involves comprehensive carpentry work including demolition, framing, drywall, trim installation and window/door work at a senior living campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and construction documents; knowledge of safety (OSHA).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, trim installation, window/door installation, siding installation and related construction tasks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and other equipment.
• Follow building codes and safety requirements in daily work.
