Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Master Carpenter / Foreman to lead on-site construction and maintenance across our senior living communities in Rock Hill, SC. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality craftsmanship and coordinating diverse carpentry tasks.

You will oversee demolition, framing, cabinetry, drywall, trim, and window/door installation, while upholding safety standards and project timelines. Strong leadership potential is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Apprenticeship in carpentry strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years' experience in construction or maintenance related field.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, finish trim installation, window and door installation, siding installation and related construction tasks.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment; ensure work is safe and high quality.
• Potential to act as team lead and provide positive direction to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
