Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. seeks a Foreman to supervise marine dredge crews on projects across the Mid-Atlantic, including Hopewell, VA and Baltimore, MD. You will coordinate field activities, manage crew performance, and ensure safety and quality on dredging operations.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with heavy civil marine work, and ability to schedule activities two weeks ahead with the Superintendent and Project Engineer.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with structures for bridge and roadway work required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents and plans, ensuring questions are answered before work proceeds.
• Directs and trains crew on contract drawings and specifications within budget.
• Enforces safety regulations and uses PPE; conducts weekly safety meetings.
• Maintains time and production records and daily job diaries.
• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials; supervises equipment use.
