Qualifications

• English language proficiency and ability to read and interpret safety and operation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operates power driven excavator with movable shovel to excavate or move dirt, rock, sand and other materials.
• Receives instructions from supervisor regarding material to move or excavate and follows signals.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; works safely on trench boxes, bridges, and utility sites.
• Observes ground markings, hand signals, and grade stakes to remove material.
• Works on multiple project sites, including marine, bridge, and utility work.
