Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. seeks a Foreman to supervise marine construction crews on projects across the Mid-Atlantic, including Hopewell, VA and Baltimore, MD. The role centers on coordinating crews, reviewing plans, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

You will train workers, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, manage time and materials, and lead daily huddles to align the team with project goals.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with structures for bridge and roadway work required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents and plans before proceeding with activities.
• Directs and trains crew per contract drawings and specifications.
• Directs safety procedures and PPE adherence on the job site.
• Plans sequence of activities with Superintendent and Project Engineer.
• Inspects subcontractor work for conformance with specifications.
• Maintains time and production records and prepares daily diaries.
• Conducts weekly safety meetings and communicates progress and issues.
