Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training; bridge and roadway experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and questions before starting work.
• Direct and train crew per contract drawings.
• Act as OSHA competent person on site.
• Plan material usage and two-week scheduling with superintendent.
• Explain tasks during daily crew huddle and enforce safety.
• Maintain time sheets and daily job diary.
• Inspect subcontractors' work for conformance.
• Minimize punch lists and finish work efficiently.
