Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Foreman to supervise marine-construction crews on bridges, piers, wharves and revetments in Hopewell, VA and Baltimore, MD. The role requires overseeing field crews, coordinating activities, and ensuring on-time, safe project delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, directing work, training crews, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining records. Experience with bridge/roadway structures is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with structures for bridge and roadway work required.
• Language Skills: read, write and speak clear English; safety and procedure comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents and plans before starting activities.
• Directs and trains crew per contract drawings and specifications; adheres to budget.
• Acts as OSHA competent person on site; enforces safety and PPE.
• Plans sequence of activities in two-week schedules with Superintendent/PE.
• Inspects subcontractors' work for conformance to specs.
• Maintains time and production records; keeps daily diary.
