Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead the EW Manufacturing Test team and ensure robust, scalable test strategies across the product portfolio. You will drive automation, improve throughput, and oversee system-level to component-level validation of advanced defense hardware.

Qualifications include 8+ years in manufacturing test, a relevant engineering degree, and 2+ years of people leadership. DoD clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years as a people manager leading manufacturing test engineering or relevant adjacent fields.
• Experienced in Linux, C#, Python, NixOS, LabVIEW, or other forms of test automation.
• Proficiency in PCBA/electronic assembly testing and testing standards (acceptance, EOL, ESS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives, guide initiatives, and assess team outcomes.
• Oversee and consistently contribute improvements of the manufacturing test strategy for each product to ensure scalable operations across Anduril.
• Collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering for design testability and production integration.
• Strategize and implement advancements in manufacturing testing, focusing on automation and throughput.
• Maintain test capabilities of multiple products from system-level checks to component-level validation.
• Evaluate test data, identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Communicate strategic visions to stakeholders, scale platforms from pre-production to mass production.
• Lead procurement and implementation of new test equipment with ROI analyses.
• Champion initiatives that enhance safety, reduce costs, improve quality and productivity.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability in engineering.
• Act as go-to technical authority for manufacturing test matters.
• Design proactive maintenance and calibration protocols for test equipment.
