Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Lead for the Manufacturing area in Fremont, CA. This contract role may convert to full-time based on performance, with a day shift from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The position requires hands-on setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex circuits and assemblies. Responsibilities include leading hourly staff, coordinating production, and maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction) knowledge required.
• Proven ability to train and supervise hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift start-up meetings.
• Communicate priorities, issues and targets to the team.
• Attend daily recap production/shipping meetings when supervisor is absent.
• Direct hourly employees and coordinate daily production activities.
• Develop methods to improve productivity and quality.
• Follow test process instructions (TPI) and ensure compliance.
• Prepare daily productivity reports and monitor KPIs.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and support troubleshooting on the line.
