Job summary

Wasco Switches & Sensors in Emmett, Idaho is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production activities and frontline personnel on a 4/10 schedule.

You will manage shop orders, track labor and materials, review performance, and partner with the Manufacturing Manager on recovery plans and safety, quality, and delivery goals. The role emphasizes training, timekeeping, and QMS compliance to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to lead employees, manage production priorities, analyze performance metrics, and maintain accountability.
• Experience with manufacturing operations, capacity planning, standard work, QMS documentation, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Own daily production results by monitoring shop-order priorities, staffing, capacity, materials, equipment, and employee qualifications.
• Develop recovery actions and provide updates on performance, risks, and recovery plans.
• Escalate significant issues promptly and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and per drawings and quality standards.
• Use ERP and other tools to manage shop orders, schedules, labor, materials, and production status; track KPIs such as safety, quality, schedule attainment, and productivity.
• Maintain timekeeping records, ensure accurate payroll data, and support HR with attendance and disciplinary actions.
• Own QMS training administration, track training documentation and expirations, and ensure training on Work Instructions and procedures.
