Software Placement Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design engineering and production, launching new products and improving existing processes on-site. You will help maximize throughput while upholding safety and ISO standards.

Responsibilities include leading new product introductions, line integration, and applying Lean/Six Sigma to reduce waste and costs. Strong CAD (Siemens NX) and project-management skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree required.
• 1–6 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Candidates with under 3 years require 3.0+ GPA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and lead the introduction of new products to the manufacturing floor.
• Integrate new products into existing lines, assessing line balance and efficiency.
• Develop Operation Method Sheets for assembly processes.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot production line problems.
• Lead initiatives to mitigate risk, maintain ISO compliance, and reduce costs.
• Lead line/cell layout, tooling, and part flow improvements.
• Justify capital equipment investments.
• Advance safety and ergonomic practices.
