Job summary

Scalable Sourcing in Milwaukee area seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve factory processes, acting as the bridge between design engineering and the production floor. You will maintain production capability, improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance safety and throughput.

Responsibilities include leading line setup, introducing products to production, and driving Lean/CI initiatives across lines; 5–12 years in large assembly environments preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a large assembly operation.
• Proficient CAD skills (Pro‑E/Creo), Word, Excel, and Access.
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma.
• Experience establishing assembly lines from concept into production.
• ISO compliance experience and reducing costs in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup of the assembly line; establish processes and documentation.
• Bring mobile equipment products from design hand-off to production.
• Plan and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor; manage integration of new products into lines.
• Lead development of Operation Method Standards for assembly.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts to reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot production line problems and lead cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead design initiatives within the manufacturing process, including line/cell layout and tooling.
• Capital equipment justification and safety/ergonomic improvements.
