Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer - 3 to join the Launch Systems Avionics Design Group in Chandler, AZ. Develop and execute avionics test plans, manage TRRs, and lead cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and manufacturing disciplines in both lab and field environments.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of test experience or an MS with 3 years, plus experience with standard test equipment and scripting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of related test experience or an MS with 3 years experience.
• Experience authoring test procedures and ensuring data integrity and cataloging.
• Experience with test execution, troubleshooting, and formal requirement decomposition with traceability and verification.
• Active US Government Secret Level security clearance at time of application.

Responsabilités

• Develop test requirements and detailed avionics component test plans, procedures, readiness reviews (TRRs), test data, and reports.
• Execute qualification testing in accordance with established requirements, plans, and procedures.
• Conduct qualification tests while managing and prioritizing problem resolution.
• Compile data to determine necessary changes in test equipment, procedures, or to establish new test requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams (including hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers) in both laboratory and field environments.
• Conduct formal technical reviews, such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) with internal stakeholders and external customers.
