Your Day-to-Day:

1. Work highly independently - mentoring engineers and leading a team of engineers in executing complex tasks supporting equipment qualification.
2. Provide oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members.
3. Set daily operational objectives for individuals or teams.
4. Develop and lead technical training in critical product areas.
5. Support PFP reviews with managerial input.
6. Lead manufacturing initiatives such as SIOP and Global Manufacturing Expansion.
7. Interface with stakeholders on technical issues, cost, and schedule.
8. Encourage technical excellence and rigor, including peer check opportunities.
9. Support resource development, including regular check-ins, TLDP review, onboarding, etc.
10. Organize, manage time effectively, make data-based decisions, and communicate with management and stakeholders.
11. Promote a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) and uphold Westinghouse's Nuclear Safety Culture.
12. Provide technical guidance and collaborate with partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 10+ years of applicable experience, typically 12-15 years.
• Extensive engineering knowledge and advanced technical skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/production.
• Proven engineering leadership.
• Experience with I&C systems is preferred.

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work within a team and coordinate external support.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong time management skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset (e.g., Six Sigma).
